5×5 Nonogram puzzles
A 5×5 Nonogram is a compact picture-logic puzzle with five row clues and five column clues. It is the clearest place to learn how a clue becomes a run of filled cells without losing track of the whole board.
Five-cell clue scale
Every line has at most five cells, so a clue such as 5 fills the entire line and a clue such as 3 leaves only a few legal placements. Short lines make full-span, overlap and one-cell gaps easy to verify by sight.
Direct input on a small board
Use Fill for confirmed cells, Mark for known empty cells and Erase to revise either state. A 5×5 board normally needs no zoom; alternate row and column checks after each certain mark.
Best learning path
Begin by reading every full or nearly full line, close completed runs with empty marks, and then recheck the crossing clues. The small grid exposes each consequence immediately, which makes it suitable for learning proof-based play.
